Do you know what. I really realised, I know, that I can’t do it all. (I know right) It’s so simple but I kept racing out the house with a piece of toast on the school run and honestly, I just felt increasingly crap for it. I exercise regularly and I was really far off my protein needs, depleted, time poor and stressed out about then having to address the same thing at lunch (dinner we all have covered, because we’re feeding everyone else!!).
When you’re a busy working mum your nutrition is the first thing that gets compromised, isn’t it. I’m a real foodie. I’m also a working mum, dinner I love to cook for us all, but between the school run and life I was in denial how compromised my breakfasts & lunches were becoming. Its all EASY. A breakfast shake will give you everything your body could need and it takes me 10 seconds to take on the school run.
One shake a day gives you everything you need (almost all of us are hitting NO where near our protein requirements) and balance your blood sugars, energy, adrenals, this effects hormone production, mood, you name it. We do have to take some responsibility for fuelling properly to manage the load we spin.
Using two shakes a day, a snack and a normal healthy meal will allow you to healthily loose weight if that’s your goal.

‘the shake’ is made up of two components. Formula 1 (choose your flavour) Protein Drink Mix (PDM!)
I recommend
2 scoops F1
1 scoop PDM
Do not confuse the PDM with protein, it’s a drink mix to make it filling creamy (without milk)

I like to start everyone simple.
You’re going to want 2 flavours of F1 (my faves are banana and cookie crunch)
I wouldn’t be without the fibre (it goes IN the shake too so no extra work – only one a day for that)
And I always have a stock of the protein bars/snacks. Amazing for munchie o’clock or after the gym etc. but again, hitting the protein and nutrients my body needs.
